چکیده
The nonlinear effects exhibited by structures under the action of wind loads have gradually stepped into vision wind-resistant researchers. By summarizing prominent wind-induced problems four types wind-sensitive structures, namely tall buildings, high-rise flexible bridges, and transmission lines, occurrence mechanism their is revealed, providing cutting-edge research progress in theoretical studies, experimental methods vibration control. Aerodynamic admittance provides insights aerodynamic nonlinearity (AN) between pressure spectrum speed building surfaces. equivalent equation method used to solve equations with generalized van-der-Pol-type damping terms. elastic–plastic finite element multiscale modeling are widely employed analyze geometric (GN) material (MN) at local nodes on response latticed structures. AN blunt sections bridges arises from amplitude dependence derivative higher-order term self-excited force. Volterra series models more suitable for than polynomial studied past. improved Lindstedt–Poincare perturbation method, which considers strong GN ice-covered offers high accuracy. complex numerical calculations analyses involved continue consume significant computational resources time, especially field conditions variable structural forms. It necessary further develop analytical, identification tools facilitate features future.

Shape Effects on the Wind-induced Response of High-rise Buildings
This paper explored the effect of building shape on the wind-induced response of a structure through a comprehensive investigation of wind tunnel studies performed at Rowan Williams Davies and Irwin, Inc. (RWDI). The study focused on buildings with foot prints of square, circular, triangular, rectangular and elliptical shapes. Seed buildings were selected from an inventory of structures previou...
متن کاملAnalysis of Tall Buildings with Bundled Tube System Subjected to Wind and Earthquake loads
At present, the tubular structural systems are mainly used in tall buildings to withstand earthquake loads. Although it is possible to analyse the structure by finite element methods using standard three dimensional programs, the system is generally time-consuming and expensive in the primary design work. In this paper, for the analysis of Framed-Tube systems, a simple method was studied and de...

This paper presents results of a recent study addressing issues concerning the dynamic response of high-rise buildings. Utilizing a high-frequency base-balance, the alon~w;:~d, acrosswind and torsional components of aerodynamic loads and their statistical corm!ations for a wide range of generic building shapes of different aspect ratios in two approach flow conditions are quantified. A random-v...
متن کاملWind-Induced Fatigue Analysis of High-Rise Steel Structures Using Equivalent Structural Stress Method
Welded beam-to-column connections of high-rise steel structures are susceptive to fatigue damage under wind loading. However, most fatigue assessments in the field of civil engineering are mainly based on nominal stress or hot spot stress theories, which has the disadvantage of dependence on the meshing styles and massive curves selected. To address this problem, in this paper, the equivalent s...
